Took a trip down to the Barbican centre to visit the conservatory. As it was a spur of the moment day, I didn't even know we were going there, I was pleasantly surprised. The conservatory was beautiful and the cacti house was the most precious thing.
The whole area was so serene and eerily quite (perhaps because it was Sunday) but the whole area felt outside of London.
There is much more to visit at the Barbican, so I would definitely suggest going down there on a day off or an a date.
