YouTube is perhaps one of the main ways that I find the things that I find; be that fashion, music or people. This week I am doing a 'YouTube Week', where I share with you all my favourite YouTube channels for different things. Today, as it's Music Mondays, I will be giving you all my favourite music related channels.

Anthony Fantano, is a music reviewer in many ways. He's always reviewing new albums or tracks from a range of different genres. I only discovered him in the last year or so but through him, I have discovered many new artists and bands. He seems to be very knowledgeable about what he's talking about and whilst I don't always agree with him, his perspectives are always intriguing.

This channel mainly specialises in a segment called 'What's In My Bag', in which they interview artists and bands to see what vinyls or Cd's they have picked up. It's very interesting to watch, as you can find out what influenced the music that artist makes and it brings you closer to them whilst also allowing you to discover new artists too. They also occasionally also do live sessions and interviews.

This man is great. Nardwuar is the man that knows everything. He's been interviewing musicians for literally longer than I have been alive. He's interviewed everyone from Nirvana to Jay Z back in the day. The way he interviews is so unique that it can't be explained without you seeing for yourself. I have learnt so much through Nardwuar and would highly, highly, recommend you watch his content.

From the family of Vice, Noisey is a channel and web journalist that talks about everything music related. Noisey works a lot with rap and hip hop musicians and even has segments hosted by musicians themselves, such as Heems and A$AP Rocky. Noisey is just very real and is always keeping their channel updated with different content.

TDE is the label that signed Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Schoolboy Q, Black Hippie and the rest of the best. This is the channel that uploads exclusive content about the aforementioned. Whether you're looking for behind the scenes of Kendricks music video or tour footage from Ab-Soul, this is the channel that you should subscribe to.

Whilst Complex don't specifically cater to the music sector, they do focus in the Hip-Hop/Rap/Rnb kind of genres. They do a range of segments on their channel, including music news. This is place to go to find out all the music related happenings first.

The Fader.
What I like most about this channel is their segment called 'At Home With' where they go into musicians houses, such as Miguel and Earl Sweatshirt but not in a MTV Cribs kind of way. This is another channel that is great for interviews and behind the scenes footage of your favourite artists.

This magazine's YouTube channel supplies content like confessions from musicians, documentaries, music videos and a look through peoples vinyl collections. If you like the kind of vibe Noisey produces then I definitely feel as though you'll like Fact.

This independent record labels channel is purely there to show their artists music. If you're ever looking for some new bands or artists to listen to, then I highly suggest taking a look at this channel.

The Boiler Room is an 'event' set up by Blaise Bellville, in which DJ's and artists turn up to play a set, which is then broadcasted live around the world for everyone to watch. If you live in London I would definitely suggest signing up to them to try and cop some tickets. Although, they are now a global brand so sign up no matter where you are and if that doesn't interest you, just subscribe to watch.

This channel is my own personal love. The whole channel is run by Alexi Wasser and whilst the channel does put a range of content out there, it does also work a lot with musicians such as Ariel Pink and Tyler The Creator. If you ever want to get into bed and have a talk with one of those, then go check out this channel.

If you don't know about Pitchfork, I don't know where you've been. Pitchfork is the one for indie talent. I do however prefer their articles but nevertheless their channel does have some good stuff too. They have things from music videos from Lana Del Rey to documentaries and interviews with Action Bronson.

When talking about music how can you not mention Majestic. A channel that actual supplies music. Majestic uploads a range of 'dance' remixes from different artists and producers. With summer coming up, this a channel you for sure need to subscribe to.

I only subscribed to this channel very recently but, I subscribed because of the interviews they do. They have some really great content with musicians such as 50 Cent, JCole, Kendrick Lamar and many others.
